About Rainbow Ranch
The Lord gave the vision for a healing retreat, place of habitation for the Lord, training and releasing people to be who God created them to be.
He has been using horses and other animals in many different ways. Horse ministries have grown around the world over the past 20 years and it is a reminder that Jesus is coming back on a white horse.
Horses are very spiritual animals and as prey animals seek to live in peace. They find safety in the herd and communicate a lot through body language. Horses are sensitive and will reflect back to you your own attitude. They don’t care about your how you look or your clothes etc but accept you as you are. Many people are deeply affected by rejection and when they find acceptance healing can begin.
The Lord has touched many lives over the years. We have had individuals young and old; groups and churches enjoy visiting, picnics, BBQs with fun and fellowship and camps. Unbelievers’ life’s have been touched too. We will share some of the stories later but God meets each person individually and at their point of need. Some people can tell an animal what they are afraid to share with a human for fear of being judged.
Many people would never have the chance to be around horses and could not afford riding lessons etc. It is wonderful to see how the Lord uses the horses to minister and people don’t need to ride to experience that. Kids that have been bullied gain confidence, those rejected find acceptance and people find healing in unexpected ways. Often, they will connect with one horse in particular. God’s love knows no limits. We have never made any charge as we believe many of those who most need this kind of ministry cannot afford it.
The Lord had us put Rainbow Ranch on the back burner for a while to focus on the prayer side of the ministry through Brexit and believing for revival. We feel he is saying it is time for the fullness of the vision to realised.
Many people are struggling due to the pandemic and with the rise in domestic abuse etc need a safe place and help to recover.
We have rented different places over the years but believe we now need to purchase and establish a secure base for the ministry to be fully operational and are praying regarding funding this and seeking where the Lord wants us to be.
