One Accord Begins
As we started to pack to move a place opened up for us and all the animals in Lancashire. We had to move again realising the gangs’ connections stretched over the up. We felt isolated and down and didn’t know what to do and once again were under attack. As I prayed the Lord reminded me years before he asked me if when revival was imminent would I be willing to go to England and help pray for revival there. It was the only thing that made sense to us. We organised 7 days of Praise, Prayer and Proclamation praying for revival inviting local Christians to join us and to have meetings in their area .
The Lord had given us the scripture and the name One Accord for a foal born as we left Scotland and we knew that was the name and aim for the meetings. We then arranged monthly meetings sharing a meal. Its not ecumenical but all bible believing Christians are welcomed. We were under a lot of spiritual attack and life has been very difficult but God has kept us going forward step by step.
Cumbria
The Lord later brought us to Cumbria/Yorkshire and after putting the first horses up on the fell he gave me a vision. I saw people coming from all directions in cars on bikes and motorbikes, getting off trains and buses the first white, then blue then a red/burgundy with yellow and other colours. I didn’t even know there was a train station in the valley.
When we walked down, we found the farmer who is a leader in his church in Lancashire and was helping us move the horses had shared with Paul that this valley had a history of revival. We all felt the Lord planned to do something here.
We organised and led prayer through the valleys linking with churches and ministries in the area . God then indicated it was time to get the sword back from Wales where it had been left in a prayer retreat for a number of years (See sword and shield) I said I need confirmation and my daughter said there it is.
We held prayer breakfasts once a month in a disused chapel. The sheep look in the windows. It is a long valley with a few scattered houses but churches and chapels have been kept open and have time locks on the door so people can go in during the day.
We held our first conference.
We had representatives from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales and prayed for each nation.
People from other nations attended too . Testimonies were shared including one person who testified how the Lord used one of our ponies to break into his life and he has just been baptised. The worship and the mix of people from different nations and church backgrounds made it different from the usual Methodist meetings held there but people were blessed and connections made.
It is Methodist chapel which no longer has a regular congregation but a group of trustees raised funds to restore it and build an extension to have a small utility and indoor toilet .
We have prayed along the Carlilse/Settle railway line and people come to the valley to see the steam trains near the chapel. Both were built by the Irish navvies. We started to make tea, coffee etc for them and cyclists etc when we were free.
We did a summer mission. God has been at work in an amazing way. The vision the Lord gave me when we arrived in the valley was fulfilled and we saw over 1000 people from over 20 nations arrive. Details are in the 2019 mission page.
We need partners to fulfil our mandate.
Consider partnering with us by supporting our ministry to help advance Rainbow Ranch as a retreat for healing.
